“Shelly’s Garden”
image size 12”x16” canvas transfer,
limited edition size 250, price unframed $265.00.
This is one of the gardens that my wife has created over the years. It was one of my favorites, and I wanted to share it with as many people as possible so I decided to make Giclee’s of the original painting.
“Golden Sunset”
image size 12”x16” canvas transfer,
limited edition size 250, price unframed $265.00.
This is a view of Lake of the Woods at sunset. Its one of those typical warm summer nights in July as you’re about to wrap up a great day spent on the water. I’ve visited this lake so many times throughout the years with my family, and so it has a special meaning for us and that’s why I wanted to share this image with so many people.
“Peonies and China Blue”
image size 14”x16” canvas transfer,
limited edition size 500, price unframed $225.00.
My wife is an avid gardener who happens to also collect china. I’ve enjoyed her lovely gardens for years and I wanted to do a series of paintings that incorporated her two passions (gardening and collecting china). This was the first in a series, and it was so well received that I decided to create Giclee’s from the original so that I could share it with more people. The original painting resides in the Minnesota Governors Mansion, at the request of Mrs’ Pawlenty (The First Lady).
“Peony Blossoms”
image size 16”x20” canvas transfer,
limited edition size 500, price unframed $300.00.
This was the last in the series of three paintings of china and peonies and I wanted this one to be the largest of the three. I was also contacted by American Artist Magazine at about the same time, and they wanted to write a feature article about my painting process. I decided to use this painting for the article, since this was would also be the completion of the series. The peonies were out of my wife’s garden and again I used some of the same china pieces that she has collected over the years, so this painting has a lot of personal meaning to it.
“China and Peony Blossoms”
image size 12”x16” canvas transfer,
limited edition size 250, price unframed $265.00.
This was the second in the series of three paintings of china and peonies. I was in my studio working on another painting, when my wife came in carrying her latest harvest of peonies. I did not have the still life set up yet. She quickly arranged the china and placed the peony blossoms amongst the china. I turned around to see the beautiful arrangement she had just created. I was extremely pleased and so I created this painting.
